The marking is performed during the femtolaser stage of the operation after the main stages of capsulorhexis and phacofragmentation, by forming two symmetrical arcuate incisions with a diameter between the incisions of 8.0-9.0 mm, an arc length of 10-15° intrastromally or to a predetermined depth, while reaching up to 80-90% of the corneal thickness, with 90° incision.
