| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Invention relates to medicine, namely cardiovascular surgery. A section of the internal carotid artery (ICA) containing an atherosclerotic plaque (ASP) is resected. In this case, the resection of the ICA containing the ASB begins with the transverse intersection of the ICA in front of the hypoglossal nerve. Then the ICA is transected proximally, starting from the medial surface of the external carotid artery (ECA) adjacent to the carotid glomus, 2-3 cm above the ECA mouth, followed by transition to the common carotid artery 2-3 cm below the ECA mouth. Eversion endarterectomy is performed inside the wound. After that, the ICA is implanted in its original place with the creation of two end-to-end anastomoses, while fixing the ASB with the distal anastomosis in the distal part of the ICA circularly.
