成果简介	NOVELTY - The automated fruit cutting device comprises housing (1) that is fabricated with a sliding lid (2) which is mounted at an inlet of the housing to allow a user to place a fruit inside the lid. Plate (3) is installed on a sliding rail (4) which is positioned at the inlet to receive and translate the fruit. Suction unit (5) is installed on the plate in conjunction with a weight sensor and controller. Suction unit grips the fruit to provide stability while peeling and cutting the fruit. Frame (9) is affixed in proximity to the sliding rail and equipped with blade (6). Joint rotates the blade to alter the orientation of the blade in between a peeling and cutting orientation. USE - Automated fruit cutting device for peeling and cutting fruit such as pineapple and watermelon. ADVANTAGE - The device utilizes a battery to provide uninterrupted power supply to the device that is of small size and light weight, so that the battery can be present within the device to supply the required power supply for the functioning of electrically powered components. The device can be equipped with an alarm unit in order to alert a user after completion of the pilling and cutting process of the fruit.
