成果简介	NOVELTY - The device has a cutting unit (102) for pruning. A cutting blade (110) is fixed with a cutting blade guard (112). The cutting blade prunes leaves when the cutting blade guard protects the cutting blade. An elongated handle (104) held by a worker. A wire (106) is connected with a switch (108) for powering an on/off the cutting unit. A 24V DC motor (114) is provided with a motor cover (116) to provide power to the cutting unit. A 10 a powering device for providing power to the DC motor for operating the cutting blade. The wire is fixed with the switch by an electrical connection. The powering device is connected with the cutting unit. The elongated handle keeps a safe distance of the cutting unit from the worker. The cutting unit is fixed at an end of the elongated handle. The switch is fixed at another end of the elongated handle. USE - A battery assisted device for pruning pineapple leaves. Can also be used in undulating and sloppy areas of the hills. ADVANTAGE - The elongated handle of the designed pruner eliminates a bending posture during pruning operation, so that length of the handle can be helped the workers to reach any height, whether upwards or downwards without requiring any physical labor of the workers. The battery assisted pruning device provides a machine for pruning pineapple leaves so as to reduce manual labor of the worker to a greater extent. The pruner is portable, simple to operate, and has low expensive to manufacture. The blade guard provides protection to the worker against the cutting blade.
