成果简介	NOVELTY - The machine is driven by power taken from a tractor for simultaneously collecting and shredding the leaves from the road and the ground, operable in forward and reverse motion of the tractor. The power is transferred to the designed bevel gear box whose output is provided to a V-belt pulley for ultimately increasing revolutions per minute of the impeller that creates vacuum in a centrifugal duct assembly for sucking the leaves through a suction duct and throwing in a collection container. Impeller blades are designed to form a saw tooth profile to shred the leaves. USE - Tractor power take off operated leaf collector and shredding machine i.e. self-propelled lawn mower, for use in urban area e.g. park and garden. ADVANTAGE - The machine performs duel task of collecting and shredding the leaves simultaneously, thus minimizing space requirement for leaves after collection, time and manpower. The machine can be used for collecting the leaves on roads, parks, and gardens and for shredding collected leaves for biomass production. A leaf collector and shredder is powered by a tractor power take-off power source, thus reducing cost of the machine. The leaves can be collected and shredded simultaneously, so that the machine can collect and shred the leaves in an efficient manner, thus increasing the number of trees and plants planted along the road sides and in parks, and hence increasing beauty of the urban areas in which the roads need to be cleaned, and reducing manpower and time required for collection of the leaves.
