成果简介	NOVELTY - The sensor based smart bin has a sensor (2) i.e. ultrasonic/infrared (IR)/proximity sensor, for sensing presence of an object. A motorized foldable flap (3) is provided, which is made of wooden/plastic/ pulp/carbon, where a motorized mechanism contains a direct current/servomotor. A dual mode power supply (4) is provided, which is a battery of any type and a solar driven cell. The sensor is connected to a power source e.g. battery. The bin is provided with dual power options, where the bin is a container and a box of any geometrical shape. A control unit is provided for generating signal to automate opening and closing of flap for predefined duration, where bin is modified for home purpose by implementing robotic movements. USE - Sensor based smart bin for collecting waste material and garbage in a home and outdoor places under Swach Bharat Abhiyaan. Uses include but are not limited to wrappers, papers and residual eatables. ADVANTAGE - The bin provides a smart solution to collect waste material and garbage in an efficient manner in a convenient and cost effective way at home and outdoor places. The bin can be powered by dual mode either by battery or solar cells for efficiently collecting and pilling the waste material or garbage, thus providing a clean and hygiene environment to human being at public places and home.
