成果简介NOVELTY - The tree climbing system (200) has a climbing unit connected to a power source for activating vertical movement of a ring-shaped frame (204) through track adjustment. The ring-shaped frame is detachably locked around tree diameter by clamping a rivet mechanism. A scanner (206) is configured to identify predefined information from a coconut tree in specific radius and affixed at a top portion of the ring-shaped frame. A motorized robotic arm (202) is configured to harvest the coconuts through execution of a pluck mechanism. A control unit is operable by a power source and configured to operate a track (220) and the motorized robotic arm for climbing over the tree and harvesting matured coconut by comparing scanned information with predefined data. A bucket (208) is operatively connected to a rope mechanism through the control unit for safely transferring the harvested coconuts to a ground surface. USE - Tree climbing system for harvesting matured coconuts from tree in an agricultural application. ADVANTAGE - The system can harvest the matured type of coconuts in effective manner without damages. The system can detect maturity of the coconuts and quality and quantity of the coconuts for increasing profit of farmers. The system is provided with a bucket mechanism for safely transporting the coconuts from height to a ground surface. The system can identify pest attack over branches and leaves of the tree to improve yield rate.
