成果简介	NOVELTY - Performing biofortification of vegetables comprises collecting seed of one or more plant including kale plants and spinach; sowing collected seed in a recirculating NFT (nutrient film technique) hydroponic system having 15-25 ℃ temperature; sprinkling water in germination stage to the two leaf stage; treating plant with a hydroponic solution as a mixture of a number of macro nutrients, micro elements and a deionized water; treating the plants with one or more concentration of chelated iron in seedling stage for one or more hours; analyzing the one or more plants in adult stage for one or more parameters including morphological characters, nutrient analysis; and screening of phytochemicals present in leaves of the plant on aqueous extract of the leaves. USE - Method for performing biofortification of vegetables using soilless cultivation system. ADVANTAGE - None given.
