| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The horseshoe (100) has an electro active polymer (EAP) holder (106) attached on a base (102) to expand in response to power supply to receive a horse hoof and compress upon termination of the power supply to tightly hold an outer surface of the horse hoof. A controller is located on a horseshoe main body and an external device to control expansion and compression of the EAP holder, where the horseshoe main body is equipped to the horse hoof with different sizes. An extendable segment is provided with an outer portion and an inner portion. The inner part is locked in the outer portion with a push release mechanism. USE - Interactive system integrated adaptable horseshoe for supporting horse hoofs of different dimensions. ADVANTAGE - The horseshoe supports horse hoofs of different dimensions, provides easy installation and disassembly, protects horse hooves for allowing the horse to gallop and bear weight comfortably and educes manufacturing cost and wastage of materials.
