成果简介NOVELTY - The link has a curvilinear link (10) comprising two free ends (12a, 12b) configured to be releasably engaged with each other. A snap-fit mechanism allows the free ends to be coupled in an engaged position and decoupled in a disengaged position upon snapping. The free ends consist of a first end which ends in a ball (12c) and a second end ends in an assembly with a socket to receive the ball in an all-ensconcing grip. The snap-fit mechanism is covered by a loop (14) which is co-axial to the link and is fitted onto the outer perimeter of the link. The curvilinear link is made of plastic. USE - Reusable safety fuse link for handling animals e.g. horses and cattle, in sheds. ADVANTAGE - The loop is co-axial to the curvilinear link and fitted onto the outer perimeter of the link, thus enhancing safety towards animals. The link is reusable, and adapts to continuously varying force, and transfers reduced force at a snap fit junction/lock.
