成果简介NOVELTY - The device has a flexible sheet (1) fabricated with a set of layers to be placed by a user over a ground surface and wrapped around a motorized roller (2). A computing unit associated with a device is wirelessly linked with a microcontroller through a communication module to enable a user to input commands regarding height of the grass to be grown over the ground surface. A robotic gripper (7) is configured with a scissor (8) attached on the sheet. The microcontroller actuates the gripper along with the scissor to cut the grass in accordance with height of the grass inputted by the user through the computing unit. An acoustic sensor is embedded in the sheet for determining proximity of insects/animals around the sheet. The microcontroller activates an ultrasonic wave emitter installed in the sheet for producing ultrasonic waves based upon an output of the acoustic sensor to oppose insects/animals coming towards the sheet for opposing the insects/animals near to the sheet. USE - Automated grass growing device for growing grass in an area. ADVANTAGE - The device provides water and required amount of soil for growing the grass, closely monitors a condition of the grass and growth in an efficient manner, allows a user to easily and quickly measure the height of grass growing on the soil and control flow rate of fertilizers and ensures an even and sufficient amount of fertilizer dispensing over the grass in an effective manner so as to provide a unit of appropriate growth to the grass.
