成果简介NOVELTY - Hybrid laser-arc surfacing of metal on surface of metal article, involves feeding surfacing wire into surfacing zone and performing surfacing with simultaneous action of laser radiation and electric arc in one weld pool in a protective gas environment. During the surfacing process, direction of feeding the surfacing wire is not constantly aligned with the position of laser spot on the surface being surfacing. The laser action on welding wire is carried out periodically, and the laser action on the surface being welded to obtain a molten bath is carried out continuously, while the direction of wire feed is set relative to position of the molten bath and previous weld bead.
