DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for continuously determining temperature of molten metal in bath-arc steel-smelting furnace based on measuring current information about melting of the metal, involves continuously determining total consumption of oxygen for refining, temperature of exhaust gas at cooler inlet, and power consumption from beginning of the melt, during the melting. The temperature of the molten metal is calculated using an equation which satisfy the relation: Y = 1432.619+0.01047X1-0.10461X2+0.002536X3, 1432.619 is the free term, 0.01047, 0.10461 and 0.002536 are the equation coefficients, X1(nm3/hour) is total consumption of oxygen for refining, X2(° C) is temperature of the exhaust gases at cooler inlet and X3(kW.hour) is power consumption from the beginning of the melt, as determined by regression method.
