| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The automated tapioca harvesting machine comprises a cutter (1) made of a roller chain saw, that is powered by a 120 rpm DC motor. A plough shovel (2) is used for preparing and loosening the soil before uprooting the cassava plants. A conveyor system (3) is used for grabbing the cut stems of the cassava plants and throwing it to a hopper. A hopper (4) is provided for collecting the harvested cassava plants. The roller chain saw cuts the cassava plants one foot above the ground level. The ploughing shovel breaks up the compacted soil around the tapioca plants to loosen them making it easier to uproot the tapioca plants without causing damage to the roots. The conveyor system grabs the cut stems of the cassava plants and transports them away from the field, and throws it to a hooper for further processing or disposal. USE - Automated tapioca harvesting machine for use in a cassava field for harvesting cassava plants in industries, such as sago industries. ADVANTAGE - The automated tapioca harvesting machine replaces the manual operation in tapioca harvesting, and reduces the investment in the harvesting process.
