成果简介	NOVELTY - The harpoon launching device comprises a body (1) having a first and second portion developed to be accessed by a user while attaining a standing posture, where a slot (2) is formed on the first portion of the body that is accessed by the user to position a harpoon in the slot. A laser measurement sensor (3) is arranged on the body for detecting arm potion of the user while holding the body. An inbuilt microcontroller actuates a telescopic frame (4) arranged on the second portion of body for extending or retracting in a manner for allowing the user to accommodate the body comfortably. A launching unit (10) is arranged in the body and electromagnetically attached with the harpoon for launching the harpoon towards the detected target. USE - Harpoon launching device for launching harpoon on a user-specified target, e.g. fishes or whales during ocean fishing. ADVANTAGE - The device enables launching the harpoon without any mismatch in the target by pointing a light marking on the target, and also enables unwrapping the string to an evaluated length by detecting distance between the device and target that enables the user to hit the target appropriately. The inbuilt microcontroller actuates a telescopic frame arranged on the second portion for extending or retracting in a manner for allowing the user to accommodate the body comfortably, thus ensuring total accuracy and reducing the jerks to avoid any physical damage to the user and the device.
