成果简介	NOVELTY - The device has a right-angled retractor (2) provided with semi-lunar indentation at a working end. A hollow pipe is fixed with the right-angled retractor. An end of the hollow pipe is fixed with the working end. The right-angled retractor acts as an outlet (5) for irrigation. Another end of the hollow pipe is fixed at a non-working end (6) of the right-angled retractor. The right-angled retractor is provided with an inlet hub (7) that is configured to attach a dispenser for irrigantion entry. The right-angled retractor is made of medical grade stainless steel. USE - Dual functional tissue retraction cum irrigation device for retraction of mucoperiosteal flap during minor oral surgery i.e. bone guttering. ADVANTAGE - The retractor is user friendly, and allows surgeon to perform dual functions by using a single tool. The stainless steel metallic instrument is rigid and corrosion free, enhances visibility during procedure and avoids multiple individual instrumentation so as to provide added ease of operability for a primary surgeon. The retractor is provided with semi-lunar indentation at the working end that integrates a hollow pipe over and throughout the retractor, thus allowing the surgeon to easily access mucoperiosteal flap during minor oral surgery, and simultaneously providing irrigation, and hence avoiding clutter of multiple instrumentation in a surgical field. The hollow pipe provides sufficient accessibility for third molar impactions, and achieves better surgical field for seamless bone guttering.
