An organic drug for the treatment of endometritis in cows, including dimethyl sulfoxide, monolaurin, ichthyol, polyethylene glycol, in the following ratio of components, wt.%: 1–4 of monolaurin; 0.5–2.0 of ichthyol; 1–3 of dimethyl sulfoxide; the rest if polyethylene glycol PEG 400. A method of using an organic drug for the treatment of endometritis in cows, according to which the drug is administered intracervically twice: in the first 12 hours after calving, and then the administration is repeated after 24 hours at a dose of 100 ml per head to 200 ml per head.
