成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a relay for starting a motor/pump when temperature is high, soil moisture is low or when temperature and soil moisture are low, where a manual time delay is given as an input and water in a container is monitored before starting the pump to supply water to plants. A message about a status of the system is communicated to a user through a global system for mobile communication (GSM) module. The relay stops the pump when the temperature is low, the moisture is high or the temperature and the moisture are high, where the system having soil moisture sensors, rain sensors, temperature sensors, GSM module and the pump with relay. USE - Automated smart irrigation system for preventing overwatering consisting of soil moisture. ADVANTAGE - The automatic water irrigation system is provided with the help of a moisture sensor and rain sensor which can reduce the water and power consumption using this procedure avoiding any overwatering. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the automated smart irrigation system.
