成果简介	NOVELTY - Apparatus of pea pod picker has an aspirator system (101), a picking drum (102), a crop guiding unit (103), a retainer (104), a belt conveyor system (105), spring tines, a pea pod outlet, and a trash outlet. The pea pods are stripped from the plants with the help of spring tine having narrow gap among the tines, when the picker mechanism moves through the pea field, due to force of impact of rotating drum. The stripped material has clean, bruised and damaged pea, along with leaves and other trash are conveyed to the aspirator assembly. USE - Apparatus of pea pod picker for harvesting early maturing variety of green pea crop. ADVANTAGE - The apparatus allows the farmers to sow their crop on the ridges. The apparatus is small in size, thus reducing the initial capital cost and size of the tractor operated pea pod picker, and hence making the apparatus economical for Indian farmers.
