成果简介	NOVELTY - The collar (100) has a frame element (101) comprising an interlocking element removably attached to a cover plate for attaching the frame element to the cover plate of a switch panel assembly. The cover plate is removably attached to a base plate. The collar is placed between the base plate and the cover plate. The base plate comprises a cavity for receiving electrical accessories. Electrical terminals supply power to the electrical accessories. The frame element is formed with a geometrical configuration adapted to overlap and seal an outer peripheral surface of the cover plate. USE - Collar for a switch panel assembly (claimed) used in an electronic device. ADVANTAGE - The collar provides protection from accidental activation or damage without the potential drawbacks associated with a use of existing cover panels. The collar is designed to be compatible with the cover plate such that no complex modifications need to be made to the existing assembly, thus improving ease of use, and reducing production costs. The collar is cost-effective, user friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. The collar ensures tight sealing of apertures or grooves defined in the cover plate, thus preventing dust or particulate matter from entering the switch panel assembly.
