成果简介NOVELTY - Assessing the efficacy of treatment for chronic tonsillitis, including laboratory diagnostics aimed at studying free-radical oxidation processes, where at the end of the course of treatment, the intensity of free-radical oxidation and the activity of the antioxidant system in the oral cavity are determined, while mixed saliva of the patient is used as material for laboratory diagnostics, the content of TBA-reactive products in it is determined, the activity of enzymes i.e. superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, glutathione reductase, and the concentration of reduced glutathione, and the obtained data are substituted into the regression analysis equation as given in the specification. USE - The method is useful for assessing the efficacy of treatment for chronic tonsillitis, including laboratory diagnostics. ADVANTAGE - None given.
