| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Under endotracheal anesthesia, a submandibular approach to the lower jaw is performed from an incision in the submandibular region on the affected side. Hemostasis is carried out using suturing and ligation of the vessels feeding the malformation, electro- or radiofrequency coagulation. Next, the lower jaw is skeletonized down to healthy bone in the body and ramus area. The outer cortical plate is removed within the healthy bone. Pathological vascular tissues are removed. Bleeding is stopped by obturation of pathological holes in the jaw with wax. Permanent teeth are preserved. The wound is drained with flat drainage. The soft tissues are sutured in layers using interrupted sutures. A pressure bandage is applied. USE - Medicine; maxillofacial surgery. ADVANTAGE - Method allows to perform radical removal of arteriovenous malformation of the lower jaw while preserving the lower jaw and teeth of the lower jaw. 1 cl, 14 dwg |
