成果简介NOVELTY - Producing an additive poly(N-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenylnorbornene-5,6-dicarboxyimide) (I), comprises: catalytic addition polymerization of a monomer (N-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenylnorbornene-5,6-dicarboxyimide) in the presence of a palladium-containing catalytic system; vigorously stirring the reaction mass and polymerizing at 45° C for 8 hours; precipitating the resulting polymer in methanol and drying in a vacuum for 3 hours to constant weight; and then reprecipitating the polymer from tetrahydrofuran with methanol and again drying in a vacuum, repeating the procedure twice to obtain (I) having a degree of polymerization of 1900, an average molecular weight of 646x 103g/mol and a polydispersity index of 1.2. USE - The method is useful for producing (I) which is used to separate carbon dioxide-containing gas mixtures (claimed). ADVANTAGE - None given. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Producing an additive poly(N-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenylnorbornene-5,6-dicarboxyimide) of formula (I), comprises: catalytic addition polymerization of a monomer (N-3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenylnorbornene-5,6-dicarboxyimide) in the presence of a palladium-containing catalytic system, where the palladium-containing catalytic system is a catalytic system consisting of palladium-N-heterocyclic carbene complex (1,3-bis(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)-4,5-dihydroimidazol-2-ylidene palladium(p-cinnamyl) chloride) and silver hexafluorostibate, obtained by mixing the components of the catalytic system in an organic solvent-methylene chloride in the reaction zone immediately before the polymerization of the monomer at a molar ratio of the components in the reaction mass [monomer]:[ palladium]:[ silver hexafluorostibate] of 1000:1:3; vigorously stirring the reaction mass and polymerizing at 45° C for 8 hours; precipitating the resulting polymer in methanol and drying in a vacuum for 3 hours to constant weight; and then reprecipitating the polymer from tetrahydrofuran with methanol and again drying in a vacuum, repeating the procedure twice to obtain (I) having a degree of polymerization of 1900, an average molecular weight of 646x 103g/mol and a polydispersity index of 1.2. n=not defined. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for separating carbon dioxide-containing gas mixtures, including feeding them from one side of a selectively permeable membrane and collecting the components penetrating through it from the other side, where the additive (I) obtained by the method (M1) is used as the membrane material.
