成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a housing (1) that is configured with a set of motorized bi-directional wheels (2) that provides movement to the housing on a ground surface. A pair of secondary motorized calendar rollers is arranged adjacent to rollers for rotating on axis for pulling and translating a sugarcane towards a cutting section of the housing. A motorized cam-follower assembly is arranged within a frame for providing an upward and downward motion to a cutting blade integrated within the assembly to cut multiple buds from the sugarcane, where an outlet (6) is crafted at a rear portion of the housing for dispensing the buds from the housing on a ploughed furrow. USE - Automated sugarcane sowing system. ADVANTAGE - The system uses the control unit to actuate the secondary motorized calendar rollers to rotate on axis and translate the sugarcane towards the cutting section installed within the housing for cutting stems of the sugarcane.
