| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has a piezoelectric power harvesting shoe that is a good source for renewable energy for energy conservation. The shoe produces enough voltage to recharge an external storage device that requires 5V of input by using a 35mm piezo disc. The 25 mm disc is viable for power harvesting but does not meet the requirements to charge up an external device. The shoes are not water resistant thus water would damage the circuit. The amount of energy produce will not be wasted as it is stored constantly during walking with power storage device. A better piezo ceramic material produces more current. USE - System for Harvesting the piezo-Electricity generated by footsteps while walking with Footwear. ADVANTAGE - The piezoelectric energy harvester provides high voltage levels up to several volts and high-power density per unit of volume with compact size. The energy harvesting from human motions is an interesting and applicable issue, due to the ultra-low power consumption of electronic devices lately. The power is generated by the heel strike of a person's walk is 1-5 J or 2-20 W per step. The system uses piezo-electric sensors to convert kinetic energy from thousands of footsteps into electrical energy. A large population can generate power from their footsteps.
