成果简介NOVELTY - The trap has a solar light source and a pheromone based insect attractor unit cooperatively arranged with respect to an insect flight interrupting unit comprising transparent baffles/sheet based collider provisions (TB) i.e. insects attracted by the source and/or the attractor collide with the baffles to get trapped. A hopper unit (H) collects the colliding and trapped insects for killing the insects. The insect flight interruption unit comprises the TB provided in a Y maze arrangement defining compartments of baffle/sheets with each compartment having direct current (DC) based (LED) lamp unit for generating optimal light intensity for attracting insect. USE - Hybrid solar light-pheromone insect trap used for trapping and killing a range of flying insects in agricultural fields using renewable energy sources. Uses include but are not limited to fruit, vegetable, pulses, oilseeds and grain crops. ADVANTAGE - The hybrid solar light-Pheromone insect trap is an environment-friendly solution to trap and kill a range of flying insects in agricultural fields using renewable energy sources.
