A screwing mechanism has a hollow member and a screw adapted to be retained in the hollow member, where the mechanism is attached to an upper section of the retaining part. A covering part has a hole, where the covering part is attached with the hole receiving the screw. The screw is capable of rotating for screwing through the hole towards a downward direction (D), where the screwing enables the member to move in an upward direction (U) for allowing the device to act as the clamping device. USE - Device for clamping solar panels in a solar in-roof structure used in a building or structure. ADVANTAGE - The clamping device eliminates the issues of cover plate bending, inconsistent gap formation, and water drainage. The gutter/water ingress locations where water may possibly escape through in the solar InRoof are eliminated, thus making no direct puncture point through which water makes contact, making the leak-proof solar In Roof throughout its shelf life. The use of thin plates as covers for solar panels offers multiple benefits, including protection, aesthetics, durability, and improved performance. The cover plates/panels play a vital role in maximizing lifespan, and safety of solar panel installations.
