成果简介NOVELTY - Assessing the risk of developing vincristine polyneuropathy in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, comprises isolating genomic DNA from leukocytes of the peripheral blood of a pediatric patient and genotyping of the single-nucleotide variant rs924607 in the promoter region of the CEP72 gene is performed by real-time PCR (RT-PCR), then evaluating the results using the allelic discrimination method, and if the allele (T) is identified, determining a high-risk group for the development of peripheral polyneuropathy in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia receiving vincristine. USE - The method is useful for assessing the risk of developing vincristine polyneuropathy in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. ADVANTAGE - None given.
