成果简介NOVELTY - The motor (10) has a lamination stack axially positioned over an axle. A winding wire is positioned in slots across the lamination stack. A thermistor (4) is positioned on the lamination stack to detect temperature change across the motor. A portion of the thermistor is in contact with the winding wire for detecting temperature change across the motor. The thermistor is one of a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) and a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) type thermistor. An insulation is designed based on temperature rise in the winding wire. USE - Sensor-less hub motor e.g. Hall-Effect sensor motor and sensor-less brushless direct current (BLDC) motor, for use in a vehicle i.e. electric bike. ADVANTAGE - The motor facilitates real time monitoring of coil temperature to avoid burnout and overheating. The motor has a controller notified regarding real time winding temperatures and control currents to avoid over heating of the motor while maintaining performance of the motor.
