成果简介	NOVELTY - A prosthesis composition comprises a silicone elastomer, and an organic nanoparticle of a polymer. USE - The maxillofacial prosthesis composition used for prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with oral and facial defects due to congenital malformation or acquired because of surgery or trauma, and bio-medical applications like prosthetic check sockets, bone scaffold, scoliosis braces, occlusion appliances, maxillofacial implants, and other bio-medical applications. ADVANTAGE - The maxillofacial prosthesis composition provides better color stability, tear strength, and hardness, biocompatibility properties along with other functionalities such as the better effects of PTFE nanoparticles on both mechanical properties and color change of maxillofacial prosthesis when subjected to outdoor weathering. Also, the maxillofacial prosthesis can be easily prepared using a known manufacturing facility at a low cost. The maxillofacial prosthesis is structurally modified and provide the best combination of color stability, hardness and tear strength, and is biocompatible and has long-lasting efficacy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparation of maxillofacial prosthesis composition involves mixing of the silicon elastomer with organic nanoparticle of a polymer to form a silicon-polymer solution; adding coloring agent to the solution; and mixing the solution by vacuum mechanical mixer to obtain prosthesis composition.
