| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system (100) has a chiller (12) for receiving coolant pumped by a pump (P1) through a battery coolant circuit and receiving a refrigerant from an expansion valve (xv3) connected with a heat exchanger (34) through a refrigerant circuit. The chiller transfers heat from a coolant to the refrigerant, where the refrigerant exiting from the chiller has higher temperature than the refrigerant entering the chiller. An electric drive cooling system (20) pre-heats the refrigerant flowing through an air conditioning system (30) by heat exchange in the chiller to circulate heated air in a cabin of a vehicle. USE - Heat pump system for use in an electric vehicle and a hybrid vehicle for heating a coolant for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for utilizing heat radiated from a powertrain and a battery of a vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The system increases the efficiency due to utilization of the heat wasted in the vehicle, reduces power consumption, thus increasing the range of the vehicle and elimination of additional heater and reducing the cost of the system, utilizing existing components of the battery cooling system such as the chiller thus reducing cost of plumbing and additional components, using internal condenser instead of an air PTC heater which leads to cutting down of cost, reduction of consumption of energy, elimination of high voltage component in cabin and reduction in weight of system, and independent of ambient conditions for providing heating effect in the cabin. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for heating a coolant in a heat pump system.
