成果简介NOVELTY - The method involves assessing a cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI) using the VaSera VS-1000 device. An index is considered pathological if the CAVI value is ≥ 9.0 on one side. A presence or absence of a peripheral atherosclerosis (PA), a type-2 diabetes mellitus (DM), and multifocal atherosclerosis (MFA) ≥ 30% in the patient is additionally determined. The gender of patient is taken into account, and a probability of a fatal outcome within 10 years is calculated using a logit transformation-based formula P is equal to 1/1 + e-z, where P is the probability of the risk of developing a fatal outcome, e is a mathematical constant equal to 2.72, and Z is the standard regression equation which is determined by the formula.
