| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The automated fruit harvesting machine has a harvester base unit, which has the propulsion assembly, computational assembly, a fruit collection device, and multiple arm bases. Multiple jointed arms are attached to the arm bases. The arm (12) comprises multiple rigid tubes (14) attached end to end at multiple joints. The joints include a tube rotation assembly (18) configured to rotate the tube in relation to an adjacent tube in order to position an arm adjacent to a selected fruit. The sensors are used for detecting the fruit to be harvested. The sensors are configured to send the fruit position information to the computational assembly in preparation for picking the fruit. A computational assembly comprises an algorithm for directing an arm to pick a selected fruit, where the computational assembly guides the arm into engagement with the fruit using fruit position data from the sensors. USE - Fruit harvesting machine for picking and collecting the tree fruits in a central location. Uses include but are not limited to almonds, walnuts, Apples, oranges, pears, plums, cherries, peaches, and apricots. ADVANTAGE - The fruit stem separator is activated which cuts off the stem of the fruit without damaging the fruit spur. The GPS data would be combined with sensor data on tree location to enable the picker to know where it is in the orchard, and proceed to pick the fruit of the orchard. The fruit transport head passes through the center of the arms of the harvester, and reaches a drop point where the gripping position is relaxed and the fruit transport head moves to a neutral position, thus allowing the fruit to fall a short distance to the fruit bin. The fruit transport heads travel back and forth inside the hollow arm pieces, thus arms can be positioning for the next fruit to be picked, so that the more rapid pace of fruit picking can be ensured. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The fruit transport head comprises a gripping collar, where the fruit transport head is configured to travel inside the tubes of the arm. A fruit stem separator disengages the fruit from a fruit tree. The fruit transport head comprises an inflatable cuff with the cuff configured for inflation around the fruit. The fruit transport head is the soft textured paddles. The rigid tubes are configured to turn in relation to each other by the motors (66) to allow a distal end (50) of arm to be positioned adjacent to fruit. The fruit stem separator is a mechanical blade in the fruit transport head.
