| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The charger has a charge control unit for charging a battery to a predetermined charge level. A discharge control unit is configured to discharge the battery to a predetermined discharge level of 10.5V. A data logging unit records charge ampere-hours and discharge ampere-hours for each charging and discharging cycle. A cycle control unit is configured to repeat charging and discharging cycles multiple times up to a maximum of 10 cycles. A comparison unit is used for comparing logged charge ampere-hours and discharge ampere-hours with predefined de-rating factors to evaluate health of a battery. A parameter setting unit is used for setting different charge voltages, currents, and depths of discharge based on battery requirements. USE - Single-phase battery charger for testing battery health. ADVANTAGE - The single-phase battery charger has a power grid connection configured to receive an alternating current (AC) voltage from the power grid source, where an AC to direct current converter is electrically coupled to the AC to DC converter, so that the battery capacity and performance can be enhanced, thus ensuring simple and efficient testing of the battery health.
