| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Growing crystals of rare earth magnesium pentaborate i.e. ytterbium-erbium-yttrium-lanthanum-gadolinium-magnesium-boron-oxygen (I) via the solution-melt method, comprises preparing a batch containing a crystallized substance and a solvent, which is potassium trimolybdate/R1-Mg-B5-O10 in a weight ratio of 17:83 to 20:80 by melting into a platinum crucible until it's completely filled, gradually heating at temperature of 1000° C, holding to homogenize the melt and grow the crystal for at least 24 hours, reducing the temperature of 800° C, holding at this temperature for at least 1 month, increasing the crystal above melt into a height of ≯ 1 cm and cooling at temperature of 300° C, and removing the crystal and freeing from the remains of the melt, after the melt cooled at room temperature. USE - The method is useful for growing crystals of rare earth magnesium pentaborate i.e. ytterbium-erbium-yttrium-lanthanum-gadolinium-magnesium-boron-oxygen (I) via the solution-melt technique. ADVANTAGE - None given. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Growing crystals of rare earth magnesium pentaborate i.e. ytterbium-erbium-yttrium-lanthanum-gadolinium-magnesium-boron-oxygen of formula (Yb0.11-Er0.02-R10.87-Mg-B5O10) (I) via the solution-melt method, comprises preparing a batch containing a crystallized substance and a solvent, which is potassium trimolybdate/R1-Mg-B5-O10 in weight ratio of 17:83 to 20:80 by melting into a platinum crucible until it's completely filled, gradually heating at temperature of 1000° C, holding to homogenize the melt and grow the crystal for at least 24 hours, reducing the temperature of 800° C, holding at this temperature for at least 1 month, increasing the crystal above melt to a height of ≯ 1 cm and cooling at temperature of 300° C, and removing the crystals and freeing from the remains of the melt, after the melt cooled at room temperature.
