| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The method involves crushing waste concrete in a crusher to a predetermined size followed by grounding in a ball mill and sieving the grounded concrete. The grounded concrete is placed in a carbonation chamber at a predetermined relative humidity and predetermined temperature. Carbon dioxide gas is plunged at a preset dosing concentration into the chamber comprising the concrete along with agitation for a preset time duration to achieve a supplementary cementitious material. The sieving of the concrete in the mill is such that retention on 90-micron sieve is less than or equal to 10 percentage. USE - Method for preparing supplementary cementitious material, which is useful in a concrete mixture for non-utility buildings and structures. ADVANTAGE - The method enables providing improved strength activity index, alternate SCM with nationwide availability, reduced carbon footprint in concrete making by greater than 25% and addresses the geographical scarcity of SCMs and waste management of concrete debris. The concrete produced shows no effect of loss in workability and no loss in strength as well.
