成果简介NOVELTY - The motor has two stators (100) arranged along an axis of a shaft, where each stator comprises a circular disk (102) and first poles (104)that project from a base of the circular disk outward in axial direction. A rotor is attached to the shaft and arranged between the stators, such that the first poles of the stator projects towards the rotor. The rotor rotates about the axis of the shaft, where the rotor comprises a second pole that projects radially outward from a periphery of the disk of the rotor. An air gap exists between adjacent parts of the second poles. USE - Axial flux switched reluctance motor (AFSRM) for use in an electric vehicle application. ADVANTAGE - The back iron plate connects the adjacent poles of the rotor, so that the motor is selected as a light-weight motor. The air gap is formed between the poles, thus producing less heat and temperature of the motor during operation, and hence reducing size and weight of the switched reluctance motor (SRM), and cost of the SRM. The motor reduces the inductance and torque profile of the AFSRM, thus reducing the heat produced by the motor, and increasing the life of the stator and the rotor.
