成果简介	NOVELTY - Detecting the presence of a pesticide chlorpyrifos on vegetables and fruits involves (a) taking fruit as sample to be tested for the detection of pesticide; (b) swabbing the fruit using a sterile cotton bud, adding it to a conical flask containing distilled water; (c) adding the reacting chemical ferric chloride into a conical flask and observe the solution; (d) combining the chlorpyrifos containing phosphate group with ferric chloride giving ferric phosphate, a deep yellow color or a precipitate; (e) testing an organically grown fruit and found the result as negative; and (f) commercially grown apple with the pesticide chlorpyrifos showed a positive result. USE - Method for detecting the presence of a pesticide chlorpyrifos on vegetables and fruits by using kit (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The kit will help to greatly reduce the diseases caused by pesticides, and improves the lifestyle of people. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a kit, which comprises a heating coil that generates heat and a glass slide that has a coating of the chemical that reacts with the heat placed over the coil; a battery stored the energy required to heat the heating coil; a charger port is located to charge the battery; within 2-5 minutes of placing the sample on the slide, the chemical reacts with it, and the coil heats up; and confirm the presence of pesticides due to the specific chemical reaction.
