| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Three-cavity scramjet combustor comprises a hollow body (1) to be fixed within a scramjet installed with a fuel inlet to inject fuel within the body that is passed through three cavities (3a, 3b, 3c) consecutively carved within body for appropriate mixing of fuel by reorienting flow stream and increasing combustion efficiency by passing unburnt fuel in subsequent cavities, where each of cavities has a primary and secondary sets (4,5) of a first (4a,5a), second (4b,5b) and third element (4c,5c) arranged in a manner that first elements are attached with body at 45 degrees inclination with respect to horizontal plane of body. The second elements are attached with first element at a position parallel to horizontal plane and third elements are attached with second element at a slanted position with an angle of 45 degrees with respect to second element. USE - Three-cavity scramjet combustor. ADVANTAGE - The combustor is capable of increasing the combustion efficiency of scramjet engine by ensuring proper utilization of the unburnt leftover fuel that aids in producing an ample amount of thrust to aid in propulsion of the engine at a supersonic speed.
