| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - 5-bromo-2-thiophene carboxaldehyde derived Schiff base compound Compound (I) is new. USE - 5-bromo-2-thiophene carboxaldehyde derived Schiff base compound (I) for providing antimicrobial, antioxidant and anticorrosive effect. The ability of compound (I) for antimicrobial activity was tested by bacterial strains such as Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureususing Agar well diffusion assay. The result showed that the compound (I) has zone of inhibition value of 26 mm at 600 µg against Escherichia coli. ADVANTAGE - The compound is efficient and potent in drugs damage protection from the free radicals, maintains the efficacy of the drugs, hinders the free radical generation that is favorable for human health. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - 5-bromo-2-thiophene carboxaldehyde derived Schiff base compound of formula (I) is new. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for synthesis of the compound (i). |
