成果简介	NOVELTY - The assembly has a stator (108), a rotor (106) and a housing (102a), where the stator and the rotor are provided inside the housing. The stator is sandwiched between the rotor, where the rotor is arranged on a motor shaft (110). The rotor is configured to have a diameter D1, where another diameter D2 is greater than the former diameter. A set of protrusions is arranged along a set of peripheral edges of the rotor. The housing envelops the rotor with a predetermined air gap. The inner protrusion of the housing conforms in shape and profile with the set of protrusion. The stator and the rotor are arranged together for maintaining the air gap, and the stator is abutted to the housing for arresting movement of the stator. USE - Motor assembly e.g. radial motor and axial motor. ADVANTAGE - The assembly solves the technical problem of non-uniform air gap between the stator and the rotor, thus reducing the vibrational losses during assembly of the motor assembly and inadvertently increasing the overall power density of the assembly. The assembly has high power density and low volume in the construction of the axial motor assembly. It maintains uniform gap between rotor and stator during the overall movement of motor assembly, and provides an interlocking mechanism of stator in the housing, thus arresting any movement of stators during the motion of the housing. The grooves and depressions of the protrusions and the inner protrusion respectively provide a seamless finish and prevent ease of alignment and interlocking of the stators and the housing without use of any complex tools.
