成果简介	NOVELTY - Invention relates to production of welded structures and semi-finished products from metal alloys such as profiles, spars, ribbed panels, etc. using friction stir welding and can be used in various industries. Disclosed is a method of producing a T-joint consisting of a rib and flanges, by friction welding with mixing, including pressing and securing of assembled parts relative to each other using support plates having radius working angle, introduction into assembled parts along line of connection of tool from material harder than material of connected parts, during rotation of which frictional heat is generated, which creates plasticised area in material of welded parts, tool displacement along the joint, its withdrawal from the joint and cooling of the obtained T-joint. When performing the operation of pressing and fixing the assembled parts relative to each other, the rib of the structure is installed between the shelves so that one end of the rib protrudes above the flanges to a height which, during welding, provides filling of the cavities formed by the radial working angles of the support plates and adjacent surfaces of the parts being welded, without lowering the seam on the front surface.
