成果简介	NOVELTY - The device (100) has a motor assembly provided with an output shaft. An output gear is mounted at the output shaft. A compound gear is provided with a first gear and a second gear. The first gear is engaged with the output gear. A cam gear is engaged with the second gear of the compound gear. A cam profile is formed at a periphery of the cam gear. A lock-bolt is connected to the follower. An arrangement of the follower enables placement of the cam gear, the compound gear, and the first and second gears. A biasing unit is located on the follower to keep an end of the follower engaged with the cam profile of the cam gear. USE - Locking device for locking or unlocking a steering column of a vehicle e.g. two-wheeler, three-wheelers, and a four-wheelers. ADVANTAGE - The device is compact, and prevents fitment of steering lock at the steering column to achieve proper locking and unlocking. The device prevents required clearances from surrounding parts at the surrounding portions.
