成果简介NOVELTY - System comprises a layered structure, for interlocking Concrete Block Pavement (ICBP), with an unconfined bedding layer (which is set on top of a base layer (102) set on top of a subgrade layer (103) with blocks and joining sand as a top layer (104) and a loading plate (105) on the top layer, on which load is applied. The layers are interspersed with a substituted layer, for Interlocking Concrete Block Pavement (ICBP), where the substituted layer is located between the top layer and base layer, and the substituted layer is formed by confining bedding sand (210) within geocells (220). USE - System for confining bedding sand in interlocking concrete block pavement by geocells. ADVANTAGE - The system improve bedding sand stability against its collapse under almost direct vehicular stress in ICBP. The Geocell walls provides lateral confinement to omit the early sand shearing and increase the strength and stiffness.
