| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Method for extracting a calcium solution with reduced impurities from by-pass dust (BPD), a cement manufacturing waste product involves (i) washing the BPD in water and dissolving in concentrated acid under heat; (ii) adding an alkali to generate a precipitate comprises silicon Si, aluminum Al and iron Fe impurities; and (iii) separating from the precipitate a filtrate being the calcium solution with reduced impurities. USE - Extracting calcium solution with reduced impurities from by-pass dust, cement manufacturing waste product. ADVANTAGE - The filtrate may be used for various applications and may be treated further to obtain a value added calcium product including but not limited to dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, calcium ammonium nitrate or any other calcium derivative. The method is a method for reutilization of BPD to obtain a calcium containing filtrate solution with reduced impurities. The filtrate may be further treated to obtain dicalcium phosphate or calcium carbonate. The method addresses the environmental disadvantage of disposal of the vast quantities of by pass dust that is regularly produced as waste in cement plants by enabling its reutilization. |
