| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Producing 1,1-difluoroethane from acetylene involves preheating gaseous mixture of acetylene and hydrogen fluoride gas to 120℃ before passing through the catalyst bed. The catalyst bed is maintained at a higher temperature between 230-300℃. The contact time between the gaseous mixture and catalyst bed is 21-75 seconds. The catalyst is prepared by using γ-alumina doped with suitable metal nitrates. USE - Method for producing 1, 1-difluoroethane from acetylene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to produce 1, 1- difluoroethane from acetylene using a commercially viable method, using a novel catalyst and avoiding use of rare earth metal or metal composite catalysts which provides higher selectivity and conversion rate. The γ-alumina catalyst doped with Mg(NO3)2.6H2O showed the best results in terms of conversion and selectivity, as compared to other catalysts. Thus, the γ -Alumina catalyst doped with Mg(NO3)2.6H2O demonstrates improved catalytic activity and selectivity for the gas phase hydrofluorination reaction of acetylene to obtain HFC-152a.The resulting product from a new catalyst provides for a conversion rate of over 99% and selectivity of HFC-152a above 95%. The process provides very high conversion of acetylene with high selectivity of HFC-152a. |
