An enclosure (3) is configured to be fitted into the clamp for fixing the clamp onto the bus bar, where the enclosure comprises a sensor circuit for measuring a temperature of the bar. A cover (4) is fitted onto the enclosure. USE - System for temperature measurement of bus bar used in electric equipment, appliance or system. Uses include but are not limited to electric vehicle, hybrid vehicle, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), hydrogen-powered vehicle (HEV), fuel cell vehicle (FCV), etc. ADVANTAGE - The cover is provided for an efficient maintenance and replacement of the components of the sensor circuit without affecting the fitting of the enclosure and the clamp or the clip with the bus bar. The system is provided with the control unit for processing and/or transmitting the measured temperature of bus bar to a remote device or server through a wired or a wireless communication media.
