| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Preparing 1-(tert-Butyl)-3-((5-chloro3-(hydroxymethyl)pyridin-2-yl)methyl)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-2(3H)-one (IV) or its salts comprises: (i) treating (E)-1-tert-butyl-3-((5-chloro-3-((tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2- yloxy)methyl)pyridin-2-yl)methylene)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-2(3H)-one (a) or its salts with an acid to obtain (E)-1-tert-butyl-3-((5-chloro-3-((tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2- yloxy)methyl)pyridin-2-yl)methylene)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-2(3H)-one (b); (ii) treating the compound (b) with a reducing agent to obtain the compound (IV); (iii) optionally purifying the compound (IV) by using a solvent or its mixture. USE - Process for preparing 1-(tert-Butyl)-3-((5-chloro3-(hydroxymethyl)pyridin-2-yl)methyl)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-2(3H)-one (IV) or its salts (claimed); that is used for preparing ubrogepant for treating acute migraine with or without aura in adults and atogepant for preventive treatment of episodic migraine in adults.
