成果简介NOVELTY - Soil stabilization method involves selecting black cotton soil sample according to highway research board classification, substantially increasing maximum dry density (MDD) with increase in addition of fibers up to 0.75 wt.% beyond which it decreased and substantially decreasing optimum moisture content (OMC) with increase in addition of fibers, observing shear strength of soil with increase in increased percentage of bamboo fibers in unconfined compression test, when compared to shear strength of soil tested without fiber, and obtaining California bearing ratio (CBR) of the soil alone as 1.82% and increasing to 5.41% after stabilizing with optimum percentage of bamboo fibers. USE - Soil stabilization method. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and economical, and can effectively analyze characteristics of soil for different concentrations of geosynthetic material.
