| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Low carbon cold rolled non-oriented semi-finished electrical steel sheet having improved watt loss and surface quality comprises 0.02-0.05 wt.% carbon, 0.1-0.3 wt.% manganese, 0.25-0.5 wt.% silicon, 0-0.01 wt.% aluminium, 0.01 wt.% or less sulfur, 0.007-0.01 wt.% nitrogen, 0.001-0.003 wt.% calcium and the balance being iron and other unavoidable impurities, where calcium/sulfur [Ca]/[S] ratio is in a range of 0.1-0.7 free of sulfide-type of inclusions. USE - Low carbon cold rolled non-oriented semi-finished electrical steel sheet used in laminations of rotating electrical machines. ADVANTAGE - The low carbon cold rolled non-oriented semi-finished electrical steel sheet has improved watt loss and surface quality, is easy to operate, has lower cost and better productivity by controlling the chemistry of steel melt, hot rolling process, with or without hot coil annealing, cold rolling and final annealing with or without suitable insulation coating. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for producing low carbon cold rolled non-oriented semi-finished electrical steel sheet which is produced through electric batch annealing route which comprises providing molten steel prepared through electric arc furnace having composition comprising 0.02-0.05 wt.% carbon, 0.1-0.3 wt.% manganese, 0.25-0.5 wt.% silicon, 0-0.01 wt.% aluminium, 0.01 wt.% or less sulfur, 0.007-0.01 wt.% nitrogen, calcium 0.001- 0.003 wt.% and the balance being iron and other unavoidable impurities, where [Ca]/[S] ratio is in a range of 0.1-0.7 free of sulfide-type of inclusions, cast in thin slab caster with slab thickness of 50-55mm, hot rolling with hot strip mill (HSM) finishing temperature 880-910°C and HSM coiling temperature 640-680°C, acid pickling hot rolled strips in acid medium hydrochloric acid (HCl) having concentrations between 4-20% and cold rolling with desired cold reduction percentage in stages and subjecting to annealing. |
